The University of Tetova marked the Independence of the USA

The University of Tetova today marked July 4- Independence of the USA. In honor of this day the Faculty of Physical Culture of our University organized the beach volleyball. Two teams were encountered in this challenge with: Hamza Veseli, Flakron Gafuri, Mihaela Ristovska and Antonela Gjeorgjevska.

This event was attended by the Rector Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti together with other leaders of the University, the coordinator of the American Corner in Tetovo, Mr. Sc. Gezim Sulejmani, also the head of the Public Relations from the U.S Embassy in the Republic of North Macedonia, Jaewon Oh, who expressed that she is very happy for the organization of this event to mark the Independence of the USA. “This event was the closing of all the activities we have conducted for Summer School 2022, on topic: Youth for the rule of law”, from where we have raised essential issues for our society, such as fight against corruption, the rule of law, and I am happy that we are closing it with this important event in the Independence of the USA”, said Jaewon- Oh.

The President of the Senate of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti said that today we are gathered here to mark a very important day, July 4, Independenceof USA. On behalf of the leadership of the University, to all the American people, we wish this important date and we also wish that this cooperation with our University and our state, to continue progressively. It is a special occasion and for this reason together with the Faculty of Physical Culture and the Student Parliament, we organize this competition, which is now traditional for several years in a row. Also, we are at the end of the Summer School 2022, which was organized by the Center for Peace and the American Corner, that shows the cooperation we have with the American Embassy, and all the programs that are realized in its framework, especially in the education sector”, concluded the president of the Senate of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti.

To the participants in the beach volleyball match were awarded certificates by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti and head of the Public Relations at the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of North Macedonia Jaewon- Oh.
