The Minister of Health of the government of our country Bekim Sali, accompanied by the director of the Clinical Center – Tetovo, Dr. Amir Elezi and the deputy of the Assembly of RNM Prof. Dr. Hysni Ismaili, today conducted a working visit at the University of Tetova, where were received by the rector Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili, Vice -Rector for Education, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, President of the Senate, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti, General Secretary, Adem Beadini, Vice-Dean for Science of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Doc. Dr. Sahmedin Sali, as well as the professor of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Faton Shabani.
In this working meeting was discussed about the deepening of cooperation between the University of Tetova, the Ministry of Health and the Clinical Center of Tetovo. This was the first visit of Minister Bekim Sali that conducted in a higher education institution in the country, and emphasized the the role and importance of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Tetova during the Covid-19 pandemic period, during the vaccination process, where students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of our University in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Municipality of Tetova was involved in the process of vaccinating citizens against the spread of the pandemic in the region of Polog.
The focus of this meeting was the implementation of capital projects in infrastructure, various research projects, support of university staff in their research projects, support of students through scholarships, with special emphasis on students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences and consideration of other forms of cooperation.
At the end of this meeting, the parties agreed that such meetings will be held in the future, in order to achieve common institutional objectives.
