University of Tetova, in cooperation with the American bookstore company, EBSCO, organized an online training for staff, second and third year students, on the topic: “Literature research techniques and practical advice”. This training had an informative character, where Urszula Nowicka – EBSCO Customer Engagement Manager, outlined the methods for searching various literatures and the most efficient ways to reach those within the EBSCOhost databases.

The training was focused on the methodology of finding reviewed articles of interest online, namely how to mark a search in EBSCO; how to limit the results and see the most important information; how to download, print and save articles to Google drive; how to export ready-made bibliographic data/record in different formats; how to create search and publish alerts, etc.

EBSCO is a well-known American company, which has a large number of world libraries, in different languages, divided into several parts by economics, law, journalism, technology, exact sciences, various analyzes, policies, interviews and various videos. . The manager, Urszula Nowicka, introduced the most efficient research method, through various selections, to find exactly the specific literature, by taking advantage of time and productivity.

This presentation ended with a conversation between the presenter and the attendees, through questions and answers about today’s training.
