On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the University of Tetova, the North Macedonia Post has released the postage stamp with the logo of the University of Tetova. Through this postage stamp, which was a joint initiative of the Rector of UT, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti and the Director General of the North Macedonia Post, Ejup Rustemi, promote the history, educational-scientific activity and the extraordinary role that the University of Tetova has had for years in nationwide processes. Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, together with his team, today hosted the Director General of the North Macedonia Post, Ejup Rustemi and his associates. On this occasion, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti expressed his gratitude to the Post of North Macedonia for the postage stamp that they printed this year for our University, honoring all Albanians who have sacrificed everything for themselves for the foundation of the UT. “I am pleased that today we have come together to make the postage stamp publicly available to the public, which from today will officially be circulated in the country posts. I’m very grateful and thankful to the director, Ejup Rustemi and all employees of the North Macedonia Post for their contribution, including our celebratory activities in honor of this jubilee year, as we mark the 25th anniversary of the founding of our University. For us, such collaborations are always welcome, they will remain in history and we need to work even more professionally. Releasing the postage stamp with the logo of the University of Tetova is a perfect idea, so we all need to be very responsive to the institutions we run, to do our best to do good work for both institutions and for society, because the stronger the institutions are, the stronger the state will be, and that force will create perspective for the younger generations”, – said the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti.
Whereas, the Director General of the North Macedonia Post, Ejup Rustemi thanked the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti for the hospitality and proper cooperation that our University has created over the years with the Post of North Macedonia. “Here we are all associates of the Post of Tetovo and we have printed this stamp with strong emotions. As members of the Post of North Macedonia, today we have a special feeling, as we respect and celebrate the 25th anniversary of this institution, commemorating the sacrifice of all Albanian families. Therefore we made a postage stamp which will have a circulation of 6000 copies and the nominal value will be 50 denars. For this reason, we are here today jointly to inaugurate such a stamp with the envelope, the interior of which is designed with the logo and building of the UT. I think this postage stamp will be the best ambassador to travel to all the countries of the world and represent a part of our glorious history, including the University of Tetova”, – said Director General of the North Macedonia Post, Ejup Rustemi.
In thanksgiving for the creation of the postage stamp with the logo of the University of Tetova, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, to the Director General of the North Macedonia Post, Ejup Rustemi, bestowed a gift with the portrait of our national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, while the Rector Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, from Director General of the North Macedonia Post, Ejup Rustemi received a plaque with the new postage stamp with the logo of the UT.
